Our Los Angeles, CA office is currently looking for Director, Pre-Sales Engineering / Solution Architect to support sales, business development and the on boarding of clients to our cloud applications and media services. In this position you will support sales teams by engaging with clients to gather and document requirements, conduct proof of concepts, perform product demos, collaborate / strategize on technical sales strategies, closing business, and work closely with product development and program management teams to implement solutions and influence product roadmap features and priorities. We are looking for a person who has in-depth experience with media supply chain, processes, and technology in the Media and Entertainment industry (M&E), with a focus on business solutions that utilize IT application architectures involving cloud, mobile, complex metadata, content creation, broadcast and digital distribution.

This role will be responsible for outbound sales activities and management and growth of key accounts. Individual will co-develop and implement a comprehensive sales and account growth strategy to create awareness of product offering, generate trial, close revenue and nurture accounts. Role will require consultative selling approach and responsibilities will include analysing customer needs, advising customers on how to implement cloud applications and services into their organization, and solidify long standing relationships.
You will be a part of PFT’s Global Marketing & Communications function and be responsible for executing North American marketing and communications programs for our Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry focused product and services portfolio with specific alignment to key accounts and user segments (broadcast, studios, and service providers).
Primary customer interface responsible for the development of business and management of relationships with a specific customer or customers, particularly in the government space. Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationships and engagement at senior levels.
